We're Hiring a Chef!

We're looking to hire a prep chef here at The Bowling Club Eatery to work between 25-35 hours a week. 

 

Hours: Mondays to Fridays. MUST be able to start at 7:30am each day. Should be done with shift by 4pm at latest. We can talk about specific hours depending on your circumstance.


The job involves working with a team to create menus, process ingredients, & cook bulk amounts of food & desserts (for about 1,000 people at a time). Ideally, you will be able to make your own menus after training.

We're willing to consider applications of people with little experience, and we're also keen to connect with people who have lots of experience. 

Pay rate starts at living wage ($28/hour).
Official start date depends on when we find the right person. Applications will close Sunday 9 February 2025.

Requirements for the role:

  • Open-mindedness is required to work in our unique, industrial-sized kitchen

  • A willingness to engage with new ideas
  • Must be able to lift 25kg repeatedly throughout the day
