Our menu changes daily, but our prices always stay affordable (or free). They can be whatever you want them to be.
The Bowling Club is a community eatery where everyone can afford to eat & simply enjoy each other's presence.
Our business relies on community collaboration. Whether you're a paying customer or not, please come over for dinner. Your support & engagement fuel our business & community services.

Delivery Order
We're more than just a restaurant.
We're a community eatery. We believe that food brings people together and that everyone should have access to healthy, delicious meals. We offer both vegetarian & meat-y meals ranging from a suggested price of $4 to $7. Anyone can eat for free or pay as they feel.
Each night we’re open, we share about 900 meals. Every week, we distribute about 1,200 free meals with people who are doing it hard here in Ōtepoti.
Come join us for abundant kai and aroha! We're open Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Bring your own bowl or container. Or, you can purchase a takeaway container, or borrow a bowl to eat in. We'd love to have you here.
But what actually is The Bowling Club?
The Bowling Club isn’t actually a Bowling Club, if you haven’t gathered that already. We’re an eatery, but The Bowling Club isn’t actually all about food… or bowls.
The Bowling Club is about encouraging collective care. We strive to create a space where everyone feels welcome, accepted, supported and safe. We believe in the power of community collaboration. Together, we can take care of one another and make Ōtepoti an even more nourishing place to live.
